How does he go from this darling, cuddly, squishy position
He knows the difference...
I've decided my dog is just too great to not document. He's 7 now so i've got about 15 years left - thought I should get busy. FYI - He's a malamute/shepherd/great dane mix.

It's so unfair; dogs can fall asleep just about anywhere in any position. It makes me so jealous.
I LOVE the cuddly squishy picture.
Awwwww, he's so cute laying in the bed. Why do they get in such uncomfortable positions? I have cats and they just curl around everything and snooze.
3 cats....Gabby/Black (love her like you love Kody), Jack/really (he was ferrel) handsome but hard to describe. Took some time to tame him down, Fish/he's fairly young but black & white (not very cute but I took him 'cause I knew he wasn't going to get that great of home). I love them all.
My vet says Gabby's kidney's are starting to go so I am giving her a prescription type food. I am going to do pics just so you all can see our feeding time. CRAZY!
When something happens to Gabby I am going to get a dog. As I write, I get sick of thinking of not having her. She is my baby, don't think others know how I feel about her but have a feeling that you all do:-)
She's doing better now, mixing prescription food with baby food. I'd feed her anything she wanted as long as she eats. Had her to the vet 3 months ago and just took her last week and her kidney's are at a 2 and 4 1/2 is severe. I didn't ask anymore than that because I couldn't bear to hear what he was going to say. I just know she's not at deaths door and that is all that matters right now.
Have a good weekend and take some good pics:-) I LOVE your BLOGS!
Robin, i'm so sorry. my girlfriend's cat actually had kidney decline and was on special food for a year. something else actaully invaded her body and she had to put her down a few weeks ago. it was hard; it's always hard - hell i cuold cry RIGHT NOW thinking about the day Kody leaves me...so i don't. Enjoy every moment you can with Gabby, knowing she does have to leave but you loved her and she loved you...the only way through that pain is exactly that...through it. if i could hug you i would...and i'd let kody jump on you and cause a scratch on your cheek. he's good at that :)
Isn't it amazing how we let the dogs into our beds and it becomes their bed and they let us into it? (Does that make sense? I've had a couple of Stoli's) Kody is adorable no matter where he is. I noticed your sofa covered with blankets and such. Ours is the same. Keeps the actual sofa fabric from being torn, covered with hair, saliva, cookie crumbs and other assorted "goodies". Dog owners totally understand.
i don;t think malamutes realize how HUGE they are. hudson always decides to lay in a place and then finds out he is too big to actually fit. but his pride wont let him quit. so he just squeezes in.
