In case I haven't told you, Kody really is a prick. I love him to death; but, he is not a very loving companion. When I'm lonely and need a hug, I will BEG him to come to me...99% of the time he doesn't, so I just get up and beat him and that's kinda the same thing; it releases emotion.
So when I watch tv, I'd love it if he'd lay by me on the couch; but, again...I have to BEG him to come up. and 99% of the time he won't. however, when I have Betsy here, well...i barely have to utter her name and she's right beside me.
Last night when I watching my time-to-wind-down shows, I called Betsy up on the couch. Without hesitation, she's there. About 15 minutes later, I got up to go in to the kitchen and Betsy follows me. When I got back, Mr. Jealousy had a change of heart

Nadine and Jerry do the same thing...I used to think it was because they were both desperate for my attention, but I finally realized that my competition was the couch. They didn't care if I came back. :)

actually Robin, Betsy was the LAST foster dog i did. in fact, i didn't even want to take her because Charlie was supposed to be the last one. But fortunately I saw her story while i was fostering charlie and it was just so sad i could not let her last days be terrified in the pound and then put to sleep with no one to ever have loved her. i know there are hundreds of thousands like that but i didn't read their stories...some day that's all i'll do. when i'm rich. and save them all...SO i fostered her, found her new mommy down the street (janet) and we've been best friends ever since...two good things happend!

hud's the same! (i keep starting all my comments like that!). we are living with some friends right now who have a dog too. and everytime jon or i play with jack, hudson gets sooo jealous. and everytime a or d play with hudson, jack gets jealous. hud is a BASTARD and will take toys away from jack or steal his food whenever he wants, but he will NOT tolerate jack doing it to him. jerkface.
